After a 10-month wait, the road barriers separating the two lanes of the A412 Rectory Road have finally been replaced thanks to county and district councillor Chris Lloyd.
Cllr Lloyd wrote to Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) earlier this year to request replacements for the barriers outside Rickmansworth station.
At the end of October, the old, damaged barriers were finally removed and a new fence installed.
Cllr Lloyd said: “Whilst I am pleased that work has finally been done, it’s somehow taken 10 months. HCC needs to be quicker.”
HCC has been contacted for comment.
