The two-yearly Abbots Langley Festival is in full swing until the end of this month.
There are 34 events in total, some with multiple performances, at 13 local venues.
There’s a wide range of events and activities including concerts, story telling, theatre, classical music, heritage and art exhibitions, a gardening workshop, talks, a craft fair, garden parties, poetry and much more, mostly staged by groups and individuals from the village and the surrounding area.
Highlights include Abbots Langley Orchestra’s Summer Golden Anniversary Concert on July 8, Sing Along Sound of Music on July 13, Abbots Langley Local History Society’s Heritage and Archive Day on July 14, Kings Langley Community Choir’s In Concordia Concert on July 14 and Abbots Langley Players who will be presenting Middle Age Spread from July 25-28.

The festival coordinators said they wanted to thank a number of people for making the event possible including the participating groups and individuals.
