FESTIVAL FUN: Village ready to rock as Croxfest comes back in September

Croxley’s annual Croxfest music festival is set to make its triumphant return, with a jam-packed event on Saturday, September 3.

Returning after a break due to the pandemic, the event will take place from 12pm to 8pm (though the site will open at 11:30am, the first act is not until 12pm) on the Green.

Residents and those from further can come freely to the event and enjoy a wide variety of musical acts set to get the place buzzing.

This includes Croxley’s own alternative rock band Glass Minds, the soul, funk and R&B group of The Groove Generation, hard rockers Meansteed, the UK’s number one Anglo Cuban band, the Swanvesta Social Club, the Indie Choir, African folk group nkomnba, folk four-piece In the Forest, musical duo M&J, 70s rock group DeLorean and musical charity Electric Umbrella.

As well as the brilliant and varied musical acts, attendees can aspect expect a wide range of stalls and events on the day, including an independent record label, a children’s funfair, minigolf, a face painting tent, bracelets, the RSPB and many, many more.

A wide variety of food and drink shall also be available, though there will be no beer tent. Residents will be allowed to bring their own alcohol amongst other food items as well.

The event is supported by its partners, including Digital Garden, PRS for Music and the Extreme Production Group who will be providing the lighting for this year’s festival.
