The annual switching on of the Pinner High Street Christmas lights is a firm favourite in the community calendar, and this year was no different.
On Wednesday, November 27, hundreds of residents flocked to the High Street to witness the spectacular occasion, organised and paid for by The Pinner Association.
Mayor of Harrow councillor Salim Chowdhury joined pupils from West Lodge Primary School and Pinner Wood School, who sang some festive tunes, and helped to countdown to the big switch on.
Posting on social media after the event, The Pinner Association said: “The Pinner Christmas lights are on! A huge thank you to everyone who took part, including the Mayor of Harrow and choirs from the local schools.
“We’re proud to be the sponsors of Pinner’s Christmas lights!”
