Detectives are appealing for witnesses and those with dash-cam footage to make contact following a fatal road traffic collision in Stanmore.
Police were called at 11.08pm on Friday, August 23 to Honeypot Lane, near the Honeypot Medical Centre, following reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian.
The 39-year-old male pedestrian sadly sustained multiple injuries and died at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to inform his next of kin.
A 29-year-old man later attended a north west London police station and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. He was interviewed and released under investigation.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash-cam footage of the events leading up to it, to make contact.
