Performers from a Chalfont St Peter dance school recently took to the stage to highlight the benefits of dance for children and adults.
Pips Dance Academy performed their 2025 showcase, Pipsicals, at The Elgiva Theatre in Chesham on January 11 and 12.
This year was even more special, as guests from High March School and Chalfont St Peter Infant School dazzled with performance pieces they had put together in after-school clubs.
Taking centre stage on Sunday was Connexions, a fully-funded boys-only dance project for secondary school students. Through the project, Pips is hoping “to boost awareness of boys in dance and hope this is an area that continue to grow”.
Audience members praised the “fantastic” show, with one person sharing: “I have been to quite a few dance shows, but this blew me away.”
Another shared: “We were choked to see [our daughter] singing her solo in Annie and absolutely wowed by Six where she really went for it.”
