Families from across the village attended a recent fun day organised by Aldenham Parish Council (APC) and run by Park Events.
The Summertime Activities event took place at Phillimore Recreation Ground on Monday, July 31, and Tuesday, August 8.
The children enjoyed a bouncy castle, performances from entertainers, an inflatable football pitch, colouring, temporary tattoos, games, and many more attractions.
There were also community stalls present on both days, advising residents of local services, as well as food, drink and ice cream.
Councillor Helen Jones, chair of APC, said: “It is wonderful to once again see so many young people and their families attending our free Summertime Activities event.
“We had hundreds attend and they got to experience new sports, play on inflatables, watch performances by Captain Calamity and Jolly Jodie, meet the local police, and talk to Hertsmere Borough Council.
“These community events are so important in supporting families and highlighting the facilities available to all.”
