Kings Langley beat Barking FC 3-1 in their FA Cup First Round Qualifying tie this afternoon (Saturday, September 7).
The Lango, playing at home in front of 281 fans, took the lead in the 34th minute after Fleming gave away a penalty kick, with Charlie Ruff converting with ease.
Barking had a very good chance to make it level again just before the half-time whistle, but hit the crossbar before Langley cleared their lines.
Kings doubled their lead in the 57th minute with Ruff heavily involved again. He crossed to Eoin Mckeown, who slotted home from the far post.
Barking did get one back several minutes later through Ashman, but never really challenged further and Kings went further out of sight 86th after Max Hercules went one-on-one with the ‘keeper and slipped the ball into the net.
