Nouvelle Longue in Marshalswick won the Restaurant of the Year award in the Southeast of England category at the Prestige Curry awards (PCA) on Monday, October 21.
Open in 2022, this local curry house has made quite the impression in such a short time.
Owner Mohammed Shoohan Choudhury told St Albans News that he was “extremely humbled”.
He said: “It was a very warming moment, and I want to thank our dedicated team who work to an extremely high standard.”
The restaurant aims to be different to a traditional curry house – from the presentation, to the contemporary dishes, to the décor – Mohammed is focused on quality.
The PCA judges said: “It is with a great pleasure that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Nouvelle Longue for being honoured as Restaurant of the Year at the Prestige Curry awards 2024.
“This distinguished recognition reflects their unwavering commitment to culinary excellence and the art of fine dining.
“The Nouvelle Longue team has consistently elevated the dining experience, captivating guests with their exquisite flavours and impeccable service.
“We celebrate this remarkable achievement and look forward to witnessing their continued success.”
