EXCITING TIMES: Kings Langley artist set to tour the world with band

A singer from Kings Langley is living her dream as she is set to tour the world with her band Franc Moody.

Amber-Simone (in pink) is one of the groups six members who will be touring America, Europe and the UK from December this year to March 2020.

The band have been making some serious moves this year as they have just announced they are releasing their debut album Dream in Colour next February.

Speaking about the tour, Amber said: “I’m so excited, this year’s been a whirlwind. It feels like I’ve been playing as part of the Franc Moody family for ever and can’t believe I only joined the project just over a year ago. The whole live band have become my little family. We’ve just come off our European tour and sold out every show on our first US tour which kicks off on December 3. To say I’m excited is in fact an understatement.”

Alongside her commitments with the band, Amber’s career as a single artist is going from strength to strength with her latest single Glitter getting the most daily plays she has ever had.

Amber said she is proud of the artist she has evolved into.

She said: “Towards the end of writing my last EP I had a bit of an epiphany and wrote a song called Workin’ which has since completely changed my outlook on songwriting and the narrative I want to explore.

“My latest song Glitter is a take on my perspective of this weird flossing culture where material things and status rank higher than actual substance and depth. It’s become clear to me over the past year that I want to communicate about more than just love and give a window into my perspective on life as a whole, hopefully that’s something that will connect – it’s for sure something I’m proud to have evolved into.”
