Ricky Gervais has confirmed on social media that filming for season three of After Life has begun.
His hit Netflix show is filmed in Hemel Hempstead and Ricky was pictured holding up the script of his new series as he joked writing ‘I’d better learn my lines.’
He also tweeted a picture of himself smiling as he held up After Life’s clapperboard.
Ricky stood in a Hemel Hempstead location while crew members were behind him wearing masks and respecting COVID-19 guidelines.
The series, which has fans from across the globe, is a comedy-drama series created, written, produced, directed by Ricky Gervais, who is also the star.
After Life follows the adventures of Tony, whose life is turned upside down after his wife dies from breast cancer.
He contemplates suicide, but instead decides to live long enough to punish the world for his wife’s death by saying and doing whatever he wants.
The show is set in the fictional town of Tambury, where Tony works as a journalist at a local free newspaper, the Tambury Gazette.
