EXCELLENT ELOUISE: Bushey pupils take part in fun run with star pupil winning U7’s race

A St Hilda’s School pupil recently won the Moor Park Fun Run in the U7’s category recently. 

Elouise, the winner, has participated in the run previously, alongside her brother, she also regularly takes part in the Junior Park Run in Bushey and is an active member of the Harrow Athletics Club.

St Hilda’s had a total of 19 pupils take part in the run. An annual event, the run is in aid of the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, and since its launch in 2002 has raised over £650,000. 

All of the money raised has gone towards the provision of services at the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre.

The centre, which was the first of its kind in 1993 to offer a full service of support, providing support and information to those affected by cancer.

Alongside Elouise, 11 other girls took part in the U7 race, six others in the U10 and one in the U12.  

The event this year had over 1,000 runners, with 136 of these runners being in the U7 race.
