Estate Agency Aims for Unprecedented Awards Grand Slam

A local independent estate agency could make history after being shortlisted in four different categories in a leading property industry competition.

Gibbs Gillespie is in the finals of The Negotiator magazine’s contest which is held to highlight the best companies and individuals in estate agency.

The annual awards, which are dubbed the property Oscars, are organised by the publication which is widely regarded as the industry’s most popular and well-read magazine.

Gibbs Gillespie, which was founded in Ruislip in 1991, is on the shortlist for a Grand Slam of categories, they are: Best Estate Agent in the South East, Best Estate Agent in London, Best Medium Sized Agent (3-11 offices) and Best Medium Sized Letting Agent (3-11 offices).

Paul Gillespie said: “It’s fantastic to have made the shortlist in four different categories. It’s always a very tough competition to win, or even get shortlisted in, so to be involved across so many categories is a feat in itself.

“All of our teams across our network work really hard to ensure our clients are well looked after and being shortlisted is an external recognition of that.”

James Gibbs said: “It’s great news and really shows the commitment we have to client care and providing exceptional levels of service. Our emphasis is always on being professional and personal and that approach has served us, and our clients, very well over the 27 years we’ve been in business.”

If the agency wins all four categories it would be the first time this has ever happened at The Negotiator Awards.

Last year it scooped first place for Property Management Department of the Year and two second places and a third place making it the most awarded agency at the event.

The results will be announced at a ceremony held on Friday 30 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
