A Chorleywood school has been named in The Sunday Times’ list of the top 10 best schools in the country.
Published on Sunday, December 8, The Sunday Times revealed the UK’s highest-achieving primary and secondary schools. The Russell School was named the second-best primary school in the southeast and seventh best in the whole of the UK.
Headteacher Mrs Pitt said: “We are incredibly proud of this achievement and it reflects the dedication and commitment of our pupils, staff, governors and the school community to provide the very best education for everyone at our school.
“We are equally as proud of our nurturing environment and the enrichment opportunities we offer beyond the curriculum, which enable the personal and social development of children to flourish.”
The results were based on A-Level, GCSE and SATS results.
