EPIC FUNDRAISER: Cityscape Recruitment from Ricky step up for Marine Conservation

Published on: 30th September 2019   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Uncategorized

Cityscape Recruitment in Rickmansworth are stepping it up for the Marine Conservation Society – and they need your help.

The specialist construction and civil engineering consultancy based in Regency House, 43 High Street, had some of their consultants organise and take part in a half marathon walk along the scenic Jurassic Coast last year, which they described as “treacherous, perilous and very mountainous.”

You’d think they would choose to give it miss this year – but on October 11, 2019, some of the consultants will be embarking on another challenge to take on a different route of the Jurassic Coast to again, raise money and awareness for the Marine Conservation Society, a charity who they actively support wherever and however they can.

The walk is a total of 14 miles, starting at Worth Matravers and finishing at South Haven Point, with the latter part of the walk being able to take in the ocean beauty by walking three miles on the sandy beach.

A Cityscape Recruitment spokesperson said: “To be able to cover this distance in good time will be mentally and physically challenging, but it is a challenge we are looking forward to and are very excited about.

“Having raised more than our target last year (£1,426.25), we have raised the bar this year with a £1,500 target.

“How can you help? You can donate to our giving page – please do give generously.”
