As the cost-of-living crisis continues and temperature continue to stay low, Little Chalfont Library is one of the many spaces opening up their doors to people with in need of a warm space to be during the icy weather.
Run by volunteers, the library has a computer room with free wi-fi access, tables to work or study from and a range of magazines and newspapers to read, along with the many books in stock.
There are also jigsaws available for both adults and children, a children’s story-time event every Thursday morning and regular showings of films.
The library is open from 10am to 5pm from Tuesday to Wednesday, 10am to 1pm on Thursday and Friday, and 10am to 3pm on Saturday. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
