A five-year-old resident who wanted to mark the Queen’s 70th Jubilee spent her time walking around the village collecting litter.
Poppy Moore wants to make the village a cleaner place for everyone, so when she saw a lot of litter on the street where she lives, she set herself a goal of collecting the litter thrown on the floor.
On Saturday, June 4 Poppy who attends Haberdashers’ Girls’ School completed her mission of collecting 70 pieces of litter.
Speaking on Poppy’s achievement, her dad Josh said: “She potted the litter along out road and wanted to do something about it. Poppy really enjoyed colleting the litter and she now wants to make it a regular thing.”
