Thames Valley Police have released an e-fit image following the theft of thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes from the back of a lorry in Chalfont St Giles.
At around 1.30pm on Monday, May 18, a delivery was being made to the Co-op store on the High Street and whilst the lorry was open, a man jumped onto the back of it and stole the cigarettes.
The man ran off with two other men towards the green and got into a black Audi A6. This vehicle has since been recovered.
The thief is described as a white man, around 25-years-old and approximately 6ft tall. He has short stubble on his face and was wearing a cap and a black jacket.
Investigating officer case investigator Hazel Browne, based at Amersham police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man depicted, or who has any information about this offence, to get in touch.
