A house in the heart of Watford was recently found to be acting as a small cannabis factory by police.
Officers were called to the address on Queen’s Road on the morning of Tuesday, July 26 after someone reported suspicious activity going on inside the building.
Upon gaining entry to the house, police found what was essentially a small-scale cannabis factory, with a large number of cannabis plants and growing equipment amongst other things.
Around 80 of these plants have now been removed from the premises, along with the equipment, by law enforcement.
Police say that enquiries into the matter are ongoing, with no arrests made thus far. A spokesperson said: “Police were called on Tuesday 26 July to report suspicious activity at an address in Queens Road, Watford.
“Officers attended and located a small cannabis factory inside. Around 80 plants were seized by police, along with growing equipment. Enquiries are continuing at this time.”
