The National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) Hertfordshire raised more than £3,000 in December.
NAWT collected donations from shoppers at Pets at Homes stores in Watford and St Albans to aid its five animal rehoming centres across the South of England.
The team were delighted to announce that £3,427 has been raised in donations, which will help the trust’s mission of helping homeless and abandoned animals in Hertfordshire.
NAWT announced the news on social media, where they said: “Thank you so much to everyone who donated as they were shopping and supported our centre. This money will make such a difference to the animals in our care.”
