An Amersham designer has had her submission accepted for inclusion at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2024.
Sam Proctor is excited to bring her vision to life in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea from May 21 to 25.
Sam’s The Water Saving Garden is sponsored by Affinity Water and aims to highlight the urgent need to save and re-use rainwater.
Sam graduated from the London College of Garden Design in 2017 after a career change from marketing. She later set up her business, Chiltern Garden Design, in Amersham, with the aim of creating joyful gardens for clients in the local area.
She said: “I came to live in the Chilterns over 20 years ago and fell in love with its gentle hills, steep wooded valleys and quaint market towns.
“Bringing my design expertise and sustainability ethos to RHS Chelsea is a huge step for me. It means that my designs will be showcased on the world stage, and although it’s a competition, the atmosphere is very much one of collaboration and support amongst all the designers and landscapers. I can’t wait.”
