Pinner Cricket Club’s (PCC) director of cricket, Daniel Langan, was awarded a lifetime services of coaching award on Thursday, September 26.
Daniel received the award in recognition of his brilliant and tireless efforts to young cricketers. The director received the award from the Middlesex in the Community (MITC) group at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
Speaking about Daniel’s fantastic award win, PCC said:
“Dan is the heartbeat of Pinner Cricket Club. His tireless dedication and unwavering commitment as a coach make him an outstanding candidate for this Award. For many years, Dan has generously volunteered countless hours to coaching and mentoring young cricketers. His passion for the game and his determination to nurture young talent have helped shape a positive, inclusive environment where players of all abilities feel welcome and valued. Dan doesn’t just teach cricket; he inspires a love for the game.”
Alan Kay, chairman of PCC, said:
“A fully deserved honour at last for Daniel. He gives so much to our cricket club and to the game of cricket with his excellent coaching in ways of cricket skills and lifestyle advice in general.”
Alongside his work at PCC, Daniel supports cricketers through Harrow Borough and the West Zone
