While many of us are still finalising plans for what we’re going to be doing next weekend, Radlett resident Bob Bassey has already started the ball rolling on his plans for next year.
First up, he will be hosting a Christmas mince pie and coffee afternoon fundraiser for residents at Phillimore Community Centre from 12pm on Thursday, December 18.
The avid adventurer will also be stepping up to support the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance by completing the London Winter Walk in January, raising funds for the life-saving service.
The 25K challenge will be followed by the Thames Bridges Trek in September next year. Bob completed the same challenge earlier this year and raised more than £1,800 for charity.
If you think that would be it for Bob, you would be wrong, as he is also planning on holding an additional fundraising event next summer to boost his fundraising total.
