Aimee Fitzpatrick, who worked tirelessly to modernise and revolutionise Abbots Langley pantomime group the Village Moonlighters, has been praised for her dedication.
Aimee decided to take on the challenge of running the group in 2014 after the producer stepped down.
Aimee was instrumental in working to reach a wider audience both online and in person, and the group’s shows were soon selling out.
She also worked hard to make sure that shows were always affordable, with no adult ticket ever costing more than £10.
Due to a combination of factors – chiefly the cost of living – 2023 saw the Moonlighters perform their final show, 27 years after their debut performance.
Sophie West, who worked alongside Aimee, said: “Aimee really upped the ante and networked hard to find sponsors.”
The final performance of The Three Musketeers raised £1,000 for The Hospice of St Francis.
