English comedian, screenwriter and author David Baddiel will be visiting Harrow Arts Centre for a special event to raise money for a local synagogue.
David Baddiel rose to fame thanks to his early work alongside Rob Newman in The Mary Whitehouse Experience and later his comedy partnership with Frank Skinner.
In 2021, he published his book Jews Don’t Count: How Identity Politics Failed One Particular Identity, in which he discussed the status of antisemitism, particularly in left-wing politics.
An Evening with David Baddiel will be hosted by his brother Ivor Baddiel, who will be in conversation with David about his career and activism.
His parents Sarah and Colin Baddiel were members of Kol Chai Synagogue, the organisers of the event.
The evening will take place from 7.45pm on Wednesday, October 22, at the Elliott Hall in Harrow Arts Centre.
Ticket sales raised from the event will go towards the Kol Chai Hatch End Jewish Community.
