Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and dash cam footage just over a week on from a fatal road traffic collision in Watford.
At around 5.50pm on Friday, December 2, a collision occurred between a pedestrian and a black Toyota Yaris on the A405 North Orbital Road at the junction of Bucknalls Lane.
The pedestrian, who has been named as Bob Clewley, aged 71 and from Hemel Hempstead, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Yaris, a woman in her 20s, was not injured, remained at the scene and has been assisting officers with their inquiries.
Detective Constable Dale Morris, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Mr Clewley at this difficult time.
“The incident occurred during a busy time on a Friday evening with people travelling in the area. As we continue to investigate the circumstances of what happened I would again appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage of it, or from the area around the time, to get in touch.
