Pinner residents got an unexpected shock when a car crashed into the front of a shop on Bridge Street in the early hours of Saturday, September 13.
At around 1.30am, a white Mercedes smashed through the front of Photoplace, with images showing smashed windows and major damage inside the shop.
Reportedly, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing them to crash directly into the shop.
The shop shared with Pinner News: “We are currently closed after a car crash that resulted in a fire. The fire brigade responded by spraying water, which damaged all the machines.”
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “At around 1.42am on Saturday, September 13, police were called to Bridge Street following reports that a car had collided with a business premises.
“Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service, and the London Fire Brigade. The driver was treated at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
“The driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and criminal damage.”
The police also added the driver was released on bail pending further investigation.
