A Kings Langley theatre group has announced their plans for their next season with shows scheduled up until next summer.
Kings Langley Players have revealed their dates for their next three shows with audition dates and info on how to get involved.
The launch of the new season comes after the success of recent shows such as Cash on Delivery in May.
In December this year, the players will perform Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood by Stephen Duckham between December 7 and 9.
The show is a traditional panto tale of the two children abandoned in the forest by the evil Sheriff of Nottingham, their adventures and of course, their happy ending.
There is a reading on Monday, July 10, with auditions on Thursday, July 13.
Next up in March 2024 the group will be performing The Great Gatsby between March 7 and 9, with the reading on Monday, July 17 and auditions on Thursday, July 20.
In May the players will perform The Rise and Fall of Little Voice by Jim Cartwright between May 16-May 18 2024.
The dramatic story of one talented girl’s journey to greatness, made famous by the film with Jane Horrocks.
The reading will be on Monday, July 24 and the auditions will be on Thursday, July 27.
The community is invited to attend readings and auditions which are all held in the small hall at Kings Langley Community Centre at 7.45pm.
Beginners welcome, as is anyone wishing to get involved in backstage roles such as make-up, costumes, props, lighting or sound.
