Pinner Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) has had a busy few weeks, resulting in arrests and drug raids as part of efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour and theft.
Information provided to the Pinner SNT by the local community led to the execution of a drugs warrant in Hazeldene Drive, Pinner, on August 17.
Following this, on August 24, the Pinner SNT detained two males believed to be involved in a recent motor vehicle theft in Pinner.
Both men were then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of MDMA.
Pinner SNT spoke to Pinner News and said: “In response to information from residents concerned about suspected drug dealing, Pinner Safer Neighbourhood Team officers executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 warrant at a flat in Hazeldene Drive, Pinner.
“The investigation is ongoing. Dealing with the concerns of the community is a key part of our role in making Pinner a safer place for residents and visitors alike.”
Following the warrant, the team then delivered leaflets around the estate to ensure residents that any concerns they have, will be dealt with accordingly.
