Anti-social behaviour on mopeds has blighted the neighbourhood after a number of complaints flooded in. Residents have endured many sleepless nights in Abbots Langley due to bikers driving around loudly in the middle of the night. Sergeant Barry Eldridge, from the Abbots Langley Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We are doing everything in our power to tackle this problem. “In recent months we have been working proactively to tackle the issue of groups of youths on mopeds and motorbikes repeatedly driving up and down roads in the village, which disturbs villagers and keeps residents, including young children, awake at night.” Hear what else Sgt. Barry Eldridge had to say, and more, in the September edition of My Abbots News, which will be distributed on September 2.
