Avid watchers of Canal Boat Diaries might notice a familiar setting in the show’s new season.
UKTV Play announced that Tring will feature in the newest season of the show, which began airing earlier this month.
Canal Boat Diaries with Robbie Cumming sees filmmaker and waterways enthusiast Robbie travelling on his boat, the Naughty Lass, through the towns and cities of the Midlands, before heading down the Grand Union Canal.
The final episode is based in Tring, where Robbie takes a journey down the canal and passes through Tring and Marsworth Locks.
Robbie said: “The show has moved home to a new channel and that’s given me the opportunity to make more of the programmes I love. I’ve packed a load into this series and encountered some of my toughest trips yet.
“There are parts of the Birmingham Canal Navigations not for the faint-hearted. It was hard going at times but ultimately an amazing adventure which makes great telly I can share with you.”
