The community spirit for Watford FC after their promotion to the Premier League was seen across Croxley last month.
Their win against Millwall was widely celebrated across the village with The Kitchen baking cookies and cupcakes to celebrate the victory.
Linda Anderson, owner of The Kitchen and Hornets fan said there was a real “feel good” factor felt across the village after the promotion and wanted to do something to celebrate.
She said: “We didn’t dare to make them too soon, but I wanted to get it all ready and didn’t want to jinx it.
“They were massively popular, the cupcakes we just gave away which people really appreciated.
“The team’s results do have an impact on Croxley. There’s a feal good factor, a lot of people came in because they know we are Watford fans.”
