Staff at a care home in Kings Langley are celebrating after receiving a close to perfect rating from carehome.co.uk.
St Lauras care home located on the High Street were over the moon to receive a 9.9 out of ten from the site after a tough year tackling the pandemic.
After hearing the news staff enjoyed some well-deserved celebrations complete with confetti.
Anna Iversen, who works at the care home, said: “We were delighted to be awarded an almost perfect rating from carehome.co.uk. The staff have worked so hard in the last 15 months of COVID to keep the residents safe, happy and engaged, whilst many of us were also home schooling and trying to protect ourselves and our families.
“It’s been a long slog but it was wonderful to read the reviews and comments from residents and their relatives and feel the appreciation for all we have done. There is a great team spirit at St Lauras and that has really shown during the tests of the pandemic.”
