A Bushey karate group have been recognised for their progress.
Joining likeminded karatekas from across the globe, Bushey KDS visited the University of Hertfordshire for a three-day Spring School from Friday, March 7, to Sunday, March 9.
The sessions were a chance for participants to learn new skills and take part in a range of sessions.
Instructor Richard Plaskow told BUSHEYnews: “Schools can be nerve-wracking because they are a chance to meet members from around the world and there is pressure to make sure the group are ready for it.
“However, everybody in KDS is so strikingly friendly as we are all there with a common passion for karate.”
During the weekend, the group received feedback on how they were progressing and were praised as “confident and brave”.
This group will be performing at Stevenage Day on Sunday, June 8, at King George V Playing Fields.
