The Chorleywood Twinning Association (CTA) is inviting residents on a trip to the village’s twinned town of Dardilly in France next month.
A total of 16 villagers are set to embark on a special trip to the town, which is located on the outskirts of the city of Lyon, from April 10 to 14.
Guests will make their own way to Lyon and will meet their hosts on arrival before taking part in four days of fun activities.
Caroline Bartlett, chair of the CTA, said: “Staying with a French family, couple or individual is a wonderful way to learn the language and get to know a place.
“Everyone has such fun on our visits that some members on both sides have been with us since our ‘entente cordiale’ was founded 26 years ago.
“Back home, the association organises several members’ activities throughout the year, including French conversation groups, an annual pétanque game, and dinner in a French restaurant.”
