Police are appealing for witnesses and information as part of ongoing enquiries into a sexual assault in Berkhamsted.
The incident reportedly occurred sometime between 11pm on Tuesday, May 13, and 3am the following day behind Berkhamsted Leisure Centre on Langley Meadow.
The man engaged the victim in conversation and, after overcoming her, removed some of her clothing. The victim successfully fought off the suspect and he ran away. She was not physically injured but was understandably shaken.
The suspect was described as a white man with medium-length brown hair.
PC Marc Addlesee, from the local Intervention team, said: “I appreciate the nature of this incident is concerning, and our enquiries are ongoing as we piece together the full circumstances.
