COME ALONG: Artists open studios to public in annual exhibition in Pinner

Published on: 7th April 2023   |   By: Nik Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

Harrow Open Studios are hosting their annual exhibition, which will see local artists open their studios to the public from June 3 to 18.

The free event has run for 15 years and will showcase the work of 50 Harrow-based artists from various different backgrounds.

The artists work in a myriad of mediums such as painting, illustration, ceramics, sculpture, wood turning, textiles, metal, jewellery, photography, print making, and collages.

A number of artists from Pinner and Hatch End will feature in the exhibition, including Shobana Nair at Studio 27, Harinder Sahota at Studio 28, NL Ceramics at Studio 29, Samantha Jacobs at Studio 30, and Brian and Eva Cowan at Studio 31.

Painter Harinder said: “For me, it’s one of the most important parts of my year. I look forward to it as I get to meet the public and share my work whereas I’m usually stuck in a studio on my own. It’s lovely to open those doors and I think people enjoy it; they love coming in and looking at the work. I make a lot of connections, sell my work, and advertise the workshops I hold – it’s a great event.”
