More than 100 children braved the cold to celebrate the second anniversary of the Pinner Village Gardens Junior Parkrun (PVGJP) on Sunday, February 25.

PVGJP has been sharing community spirit since 2022, with nearly 1,000 young runners taking part.

Two years later, the weekly event is still going strong, with children as young as four taking part.

A spokesperson for PVGJP told Pinnernews: “Since starting two years ago, we have grown into the largest junior parkrun in the district – with nearly 1,000 children finishing over 7,500 times and over 200 volunteers from the local community helping run our events.”
