The historic former Bushey Studios has been put up for sale with a guide price of £2,600,000.
Property consultancy Estate Office says the Grade II listed property on Bushey High Street “lends itself to alternative uses and may suit conversion to residential”.
Recognised by Historic England, there is plenty of historical significance to the property.
The site was a film studio used between 1913 to 1985, and has seen the likes of Sir Hubert Von Herkomer and Bing Crosby pass through its doors.
After the Second World War, the studios were used intermittently, mainly for low-budget films, and later for documentaries and sex comedies.
According to the brochure, the building could achieve the “full rental potential of £26 per square foot across all suites” with the reversionary income equating to £223,236 per annum.
