Volunteers at the Northwood Craft Market are putting on a Christmas event to help residents find unique gifts for their loved ones.
The Northwood Christmas Craft Market, which will be held at Methodist Church Hall in Oaklands Gate, Northwood on Saturday, December 7, will see handmade crafts by local craftspeople sold to visitors.
The high quality and original crafts include Christmas decorations, jewellery, knitting and crochet, embroidery, children’s clothing, silk scarves, watercolours, fairy houses, mosaics, fabric bags and purses, home accessories and plentymore.
For children, as well as hands-on Christmas crafts to make, there will be a treasure hunt and the chance to visitSanta in his grotto.
The Northwood Craft Market has been going for 12 years with monthly markets from March to December each year.
It is a non-profit organisation and run by volunteers. All crafts for sale are handmade by the stallholders.
The Northwood Live at Home Scheme will be there selling Christmas puddings, homemade jams, jellies and other festive fayre to raise funds for their charity.
