A short film produced by Stanmore students has turned heads and racked up more than 4,000 views on YouTube in just three weeks.
The students from Stanmore College produced their film Choices, in which they questioned peers about dignity and respect to highlight the significance of being nice and polite.
Twelve actors and a production team of four students were supported by staff members Syed Jaward and Minesh Ganesh to create the film.
The movie aims to open young people’s minds and get them to consider the influence their actions and words can have on others.
Sudent Sayamm Joshi said: “The movie will help improve respect in the college by encouraging students to be kind, empathetic and supportive towards each other. It will also prompt students to reflect on how they treat others.”
Syed said: “I was really impressed with the students’ enthusiasm and commitment; they inspired me and kept a level playing field for everyone as all ideas were taken onboard. It was amazing to see their ingenuity and creativity.”
