Berkhamsted-based ukulele group is holding a charity concert in aid of the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre.
Berkhamsted Ukulele Random Players (BURP) are set to perform at the concert, titled UKES Against Cancer, on Sunday, November 20, at 7pm.
The event at Berkhamsted Civic Centre is in support of the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre in Northwood, an independent medical charity providing CT, MRI and PET-CT scans to diagnose and monitor cancer and other serious conditions.
Caroline Wren, fundraiser for Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, said: “Last year’s UKES Against Cancer concert was a great success, and we are planning this to be another delightful evening of uplifting music and cheer. All proceeds raised from the concert will help us to keep giving our local patients with cancer the best care.”
Tickets are £10 or £5 for under-12s and can be purchased through Eventbrite, at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ukes-against-cancer-tickets-376169171117 or by downloading the booking form at www.stricklandscanner.org.uk/get-involved/ukes
