CCTV appeal after distraction theft in Rickmansworth

Police have released CCTV photos of a man and woman who might be able to assist with their enquiries following a theft from a parked car at Tesco, in Harefield Road, Rickmansworth.

At around 11.45am on Tuesday, April 30, a woman in her 60s had bank cards stolen from her handbag, which was in her silver Citroen car, while she was distracted by someone asking for directions.

Hundreds of pounds worth of cash was then taken from her account using the stolen bank card.
