The Eastbury Nursing Home has been included in the 2019 Top 20 Care Home Awards which was carried out by carehome.co.uk last month.
Staff at the Northwood care home, which caters for younger adults with mental health diagnosis and learning and physical disabilities, were delighted with the news.
Home manager, Ramona Motorgeanu, has said that she is incredibly proud of her staff who deserve the recognition.
She said: “When I heard that we were one of the Top 20 Care Homes in London, I was so proud of my staff and I feel honoured that the work we are doing has been recognised as good enough for a reward. Thank you to the residents and families for trusting us.”
The Top 20 awards work off reviews from residents and their families and aim to highlight the most recommended care homes in each region of the UK.
Established in 1985, the care home provides an enthusiastic approach to caring for residents in the home and encourages and enables residents to live a fulfilled and interesting lifestyle.
One resident who has lived at the home for 25 years has said it is a “very deservedly award and I like it here.”
The wife of a resident at Eastbury said: “My husband has been a resident at the Eastbury Nursing Home since October 2016, and I have been greatly impressed with the very high level of care provided by all staff who well deserve this prestigious award.”
