Police were called to assist the ambulance service at the scene of a collision in Meriden Way, Garston.
They were called at 1.06pm on Monday November 16.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident – a silver Ford Fusion and a red Citroen C3.
Officers attended to assist with traffic control and slight injuries were reported, one person was taken to hospital.
GarstonNews spoke to Meriden ward councillor, Jennifer Pattinson, who said: “The accident in Meriden Way has made the residents concerned about the safety of the junction, there with York Way.
“I have escalated this to Herts County Council as a safety issue.
“Crossing the road there feels unsafe in my opinion but this is mainly due to the speed of vehicles.”
