A Bushey charity is putting on a free musical event to remember next month.
The Red Cross Bushey is hosting an evening called music & Merigues on Saturday, January 29, at 7.30pm.
It’s a chance for everyone to enjoy a collection of musical favourites and classical music to celebrate and support the work of Red Trust, which helps to build community in the Little Reddings area of Bushey.
They create friendly, hospitable spaces so that people can meet, connect, and help each other.
A Red Cross spokesperson said: “This will be a chance for people to enjoy an evening out at Bushey Baptist Church, Chalk Hill, Watford, with good music and puddings, whilst hearing about the work that The Red Trust has planned for 2022.
“The evening will be ticketed to ensure we can meet any social distancing rules, but the tickets are free. All you need to do if you would like one is email: info@redtrustbushey.org
“On the night, there will also be the chance to donate financially or in kind and time. We will also have opportunities for people who would like to volunteer with us or even those who are looking for work.”
