Northwood Hills residents have come together to decry recent incidents of illegal parking on Joel Street.
In one instance, a silver Toyota Prius was parked on double yellow lines, half on the road and half on the pavement, near the roundabout.
In another incident, a blue Ford was parked on the pavement just outside the Northwood Hills Supermarket, showing disregard for parking rules in the area and potentially blocking the shop’s delivery vehicles.
One resident stated: “Some people think they can do anything they want and are above the rules.”
Another added: “Pavement parking seems a regular thing now. It’s dangerous, especially around so many schools.”
The Hillingdon Council webpage regarding illegally parked vehicles reads: “All reports of illegally parked vehicles are treated confidentially and are attended to as soon as possible. If appropriate, enforcement action is carried out against all offending vehicles.”
