Labour candidate Radhika Settipalli will stand against cllr Bright. Radhika has worked in a fintech company based in Borehamwood for 20 years.

In an announcement on Facebook on Monday, January 27, Hertsmere Conservatives said: “Cllr Caroline Clapper has represented Watling for nearly two decades, and she says it’s been the honour of her life.

“Caroline will continue to be a strong voice for Radlett, Aldenham and Elstree, ensuring our area remains a beautiful, sustainable and safe place to live for generations to come.”

A spokesperson for Labour for Hertsmere said: “Hertfordshire deserves better than the years of Conservative mismanagement. With gaps in funding for SEND, social care and vital services, the need for change has never been more urgent.”
