Officers investigating reports of tool theft and vehicle interference in Apsley are appealing for information and witnesses.
The tool theft happened in Harrier Close, overnight between Monday June 7 and Tuesday June 8.
Offender(s) gained access to a white Volkswagen Caddy van and stole power tools worth in excess of £10,000.
Investigator Lisa Brown, from the Dacorum Local Crime Unit, said: “The victim is a tradesman and the theft of his tools has greatly impacted his livelihood. It appears keyless entry has been gained and the vehicle moved forward by the offenders.
“We are sharing images of some of the stolen items so please contact police if you believe you have seen these for sale anywhere, or you have been offered them by anyone.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area overnight between Monday June 7 and Tuesday June 8.”
