It’s been a busy week for the Dacorum Safer Neighbourhood Team in Hemel Hempstead town centre.
In the past few days, PCSO Becca Creber and PC Attila Cseh have attended a range of incidents in the town.
The first involved assisting a young mother whose young child had collapsed outside a shop.
They accompanied her and the child to the urgent care centre, and are pleased to report that the child is now well.
They then responded to reports of a fight between two people in Gadebridge Park, but on police arrival, things had calmed down and no injuries were reported.
Then came a report of shoplifting at Marks and Spencer, where they arrested a man on suspicion of stealing a large amount of meat. He then went into custody.
The pair then gave advice on safe and sensible parking to families collecting their children from South Hill Primary School, Dacorum Music School and Heath Lane Nursery School – all of which are on Heath Lane – after complaints from residents about dangerous parking.
